How will my participation help?
By choosing to be in a study, you can help researchers learn about nucresiran. You will help us see if it could potentially be a new option for adults who have ATTR amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy, or hereditary ATTR amyloidosis with polyneuropathy.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. All study-related care is provided at no cost, and you do not need health insurance to participate. You will not have to pay for the investigational medication or for any assessments that take place as part of the study.
Can I stop participating in the study?
Yes. It is your choice whether or not to take part in a research study and it is your choice if you want to stop. You can change your mind or stop participating at any time, for any reason.
How is my privacy protected?
All your study data (information) will be kept confidential and used only for research purposes. We follow strict privacy and security guidelines to keep your information safe.
Will participating affect my regular healthcare?
No. Our team will monitor your health throughout the study, but you will remain under the care of your regular doctor for all your non–study-related health needs.
